Paul George is out for the year after having injections into his knee and his adductor muscle. The Tragedy at Southern University & my Experience Pledging Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity

I have been a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., for 28 years, and recently saw the tragedy at Southern University. My prayers go out to this young man's family. What happened to him should NEVER have happened. But there are comments from people who have no knowledge of these organizations other than tragic situations that have happened and refer to fraternities and sororities as buying friends or call it lame or other derogatory terms. But those same people who refer to members as "lames," while supporting so many of those "lames" through music, media, sports, fashion, etc. These people also ignore that hazing goes on in school, bands, sports, military and everyday life. Angel Reese said on her podcast that the players in the WNBA are going to sit out which is a strike if they don’t get what they want from the owners. The problem is she has no idea what the difference is between a strike and a lockout. Secondly, it’s not gonna happen. Third she shouldn’t speak on things that she has no knowledge of. And when you hear her speak on it, she’s one of the few players who could actually afford to be locked out because she makes a boatload of money in the endorsement market. Napheesa Collier was on a podcast on CBS where she was asked about what she was most excited about for the season, and she said the collective bargaining agreement. In that conversation, she made no acknowledgment of the reason the players now may have a little leverage in negotiations. Instead of mentioning Caitlin Clark and acknowledging her she talked about Unrivaled, she talked about filling arenas, which is literally what Clark did for the league she talked about ratings which again is literally what Clark did for the league, but she never mentioned Clark. One would’ve thought that at least Napheesa Collier had some sense, but clearly she suffers from the same delusion and derangement syndrome that refuses to acknowledge the reason that people now recognize you as you walk through an airport or walk down the street.
