”She’s Not Black Enough!” — A’ja Wilson’s Friend Sparks RACISM Controversy Over Napheesa Collier!

A’ja Wilson's close friend Michael McManus—also known as Deloris Jordan on X—is once again under fire, this time targeting Napheesa Collier with racially charged attacks. McManus questioned Collier’s Blackness, suggesting that her white husband and proximity to white people are why the WNBA is "pushing her" over A’ja Wilson for MVP—ignoring the reality that Collier is simply having a better season on a better team.

This isn’t the first time McManus has gone on a public tirade, and A’ja Wilson’s continued silence and refusal to distance herself raises major concerns. How long will the WNBA allow this rhetoric to go unchecked under the banner of “No Place for Hate”?

The league must address the racism within its own ranks if it truly stands for inclusion and equality. The toxic double standard and hypocrisy must be called out.
